Prerequisites:
1. High School Diploma or GED.

Credit Hours: The academic credit hours listed below for each course mean that you will have spent 15 hours of formal time per credit hour working on each topic, plus 30 hours per credit in homework. For example, if a course has 4 credits, you will have spent 4 x 15 =60 hours formal time and 120 hours study time to master the course learning objectives.

Course Numbering:

Course numbers denote the level of difficulty, with courses in the 100 level being more basic than courses in the 400 level.

Prefixes and Suffixes

The letter prefix before each number stands for the category into which the course falls:
ENG=english
BIOL=biololgy
HON=honors level course
MATH=mathematics
PSY=psychology
MW=midwifery
SOC= sociology

Suffixes:

The only letter suffix we use is G. It denotes the general education category.
