Clinical Experience Requirement:
A minimum of 12 months of clinical experience under the supervision of the preceptor at a single site or a variety of sites.
You must also meet the following requirements by the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM).

Conversion to Semester Credit Hours:
30 Clinical Hours = 1 Credit Hour.
Total Clinical Credit Hours = 27.75 Credits
Additionally, NARM requires that all required NARM skills be achieved, which takes at least another 517.50 contact hours.
Important:- 10 of the 20 Births attended under supervision as primary must be in homes or other out-of-hospital settings
- 3 of the 20 births attended under supervision as primary must be for women for whom the student has provided primary care during a minimum of four (4) prenatal visits, birth, one (1) newborn exam, and one (1) postpartum exam.
