Licensed Midwives

1. Must have high school diploma or equivalent
2. Must have license issued by the jurisdiction in which the midwifery practice is located
3. Must have had one year of experience since licensing
   

 

Certified Midwives

1. Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent
2. Must have a certification from a College approved state or national midwifery organization
3. Must have had one year of experience since certification
   

 

Certified Nurse Midwives

1. Must have had one year of experience since certification
   

 

Physician Assistant Midwives

1. Must have had one year of experience since licensing
   

 

Licensed Physicians practicing obstetrics

1. Must have had one year of experience since licensing
