Transcripts and documentation of previous academic and clinical experience will be necessary not only for prerequisites, but also to show partial fulfillment of the degree sought when the candidate is proposing an accelerated program. Such transcripts and documentation must be approved by the students preceptor as well as by the College.
Clinical experience must be signed off by an approved clinical preceptor. You will have 5 years from registration with the College to complete any of these degrees.
Special Note: Since the College is a national program serving all 50 states in the U.S., its requirements for clinical experiences are based on those of the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM). If the student plans to pursue a specific state license/certification, it is the students responsibility to make sure s/he meets the states requirements in the event that they differ from those of NARM and the College.
Regardless of the state the student is in, the clinical requirements listed for the degrees must be met in order to receive a diploma from the College.
